Spring in Baltimore

May 26, 2016

Location: Baltimore • May 25st, 2016

Outfit Details:
J. Crew Top, Banana Republic Skirt, Jeffery Campbell Heels, Kate Spade Bag

After four weeks of gray skies and rain, we finally have sunshine in Baltimore. Hallelujah!!! Spring is my favorite season with all of the flowers in blooms and Baltimore makes it look good! Since I grew up mostly around white magnolia trees, imagine my shock when I discovered this sea of pink!!!

This view has become one of my favorites in Baltimore. You can see the other side of the monument in an earlier post (here). The Washington Monument in Baltimore was the first major monument to honor George Washington and predates the one in D.C. The same architect designed both monuments. People in Baltimore like to joke that this monument "actually has George Washington on it." Danny and I shot these photos back in March.

I love a good skirt that twirls and this pleated one from Banana Republic is no different. It is so comfortable and easy to dress up or down. This skirt would pair well with a gray or white v-neck shirt for a more casual look.

We were supposed to be in Paris celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary this week. Now it feels like those plans were made in an alternative reality or another lifetime with everything that has happened in the world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
